Cockburn Vets has been part of the community since the 1930s, when the practice was first founded by Bob Cockburn. Over the decades, we’ve proudly supported pet owners across Coalville, Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Shepshed, Market Bosworth and Markfield. Today, we remain a small, family-run practice dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care for your pets.

When you bring your cat to us, you’ll find a dedicated cat-only waiting area with space to keep carriers safely on the seat beside you. If your cat prefers extra privacy, our reception team can provide a freshly laundered towel to cover their carrier.We offer 15-minute appointments as standard to ensure a relaxed, unhurried experience, and our in-house 24/7 service is staffed entirely by our own vets and nurses.
Dog Friendly
We’re proud to be an accredited Dog Friendly Clinic, committed to making every visit as calm and comfortable as possible for your canine companions. From a welcoming, stress-reduced environment to gentle, low-stress handling techniques, our team is trained to understand and respond to dogs’ individual needs.
