Cockburn Vets is proud to have been named Best UK Vet not once, but twice, winning the award in two consecutive years. Following these successes, the competition rules were changed so that practices could only win once, and an exclusive Elite Club was created to recognise previous multiple winners. We are proud to have been the first veterinary practice inducted into this prestigious group.

RCVS Accredited Practice
We are proud to be an RCVS Accredited Practice, a voluntary scheme run by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Not every veterinary practice chooses to join this programme, and those that do must meet rigorous standards covering patient care, facilities, hygiene, health and safety, and clinical protocols.
For pet owners, this accreditation provides reassurance that Cockburn Vets has been independently assessed and consistently delivers the high standards expected of a leading veterinary practice.

Our dedication to clinical excellence has also been recognised with an RCVS Knowledge Award for Antimicrobial Stewardship. This award celebrates practices that demonstrate best practice in the responsible use of antibiotics, helping to protect both animal health and the effectiveness of these important medicines for the future.
